About Mrs. Jendzo

My Name is Phyllis Jendzo and I have had the pleasure of teaching
Pre-Kindergarten children at Trinity Regional School for over 30 years.
I am a New York State certified teacher with an Associates Degree in Early
Childhood, a Bachelors Degree in Nursery to 6th grade and a Masters
Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a lifelong resident of Huntington
Long Island where my husband Richard and I have four wonderful adult
children and are now blessed with five beautiful grandchildren. I love
teaching this age group. Their young minds are like sponges and always
love coming to school!

Welcome Students!

I am so excited to be starting a new school year with my Pre-K class.
We will be learning Pre-Reading skills with a new reading program and
Math concepts with many math manipulatives. We will be exploring Social
Studies and Science with activities, projects, and In-House Field trips. We
will be learning through songs, fingerplays, and movement and dance. I will
be making learning fun and filled with excitement for my students this year!

sounds, religion, colors, shapes, handwriting and so much more.
Our program will support the development of your child’s socialization skills.
